Work Less For More

Just like many industries on social media, you're going to get your fair share of misinformation. For example, one of the biggest myths in the voiceover business is that you have to sign up for a Fiverr account and work with as many clients as your time will allow. This is pure nonsense. What happens is you end up working day and night with lowball clients who are needy, picky and always attempting to squeeze additional work out of you for no extra charge.

Focus on the type of client who is the exact opposite. The kind of client who clearly understands the simple fact that quality work requires quality prices. Even if they have limited experience in this industry, they know that if they want a professional voiceover, they will have to pay for it. A client who is passionate about improving their business or moving a product and not out there looking for the lowest price.

In comparison to the lowballing clients looking to save a few bucks, high-quality clients ARE OUT THERE and are just around the corner. Keep in mind that one high-quality client can do a heck of a lot more for you in the long run than twenty low-quality clients. For me, I would rather work with five clients who pay reasonable rates as opposed to 20 who don't.
